Comprehensive Initial Consultation Package
Treatment with our team begins with a three-appointment initial consultation package which includes:
A review of your prior oncology records, pathology results, labs, imaging, genetic testing, molecular studies, and all treatments to date, as well as any previous functional medicine labs, if applicable.
Comprehensive intake questionnaires to assess your health history, toxic exposures, symptoms, cancer history, family history, and more.
Access to Dr. Jamie's Terrain Fundamentals video series to be watched before your first appointment.
An initial 120-minute appointment with Dr. Jamie to review and discuss your case and determine a treatment path forward.
A 90-minute virtual session with Sarah Heffron, our oncology dietician.
A 45-minute follow-up consultation with Dr. Jamie 2-4 weeks after your first appointment to discuss terrain vulnerabilities, preliminary recommendations, and membership options.
The initial consultation is $2,400.00, with a 50% deposit due at booking and the balance due at your first appointment.
Dr. Jamie typically spends 5+ hours on each new patient’s initial consultation, including almost 3 hours of time with you.
After your initial consultation appointments, you will be offered the option of a membership, which would include Functional Medicine testing and support from the entire CIOFM team. This consists of a Functional Medicine and Oncology-trained nurse practitioner, holistic dietician, and health care coach. Membership also provides serial visits with Dr. Jamie throughout your care, the frequency of which is determined at your initial consult and based on your membership.
Whether you are a patient with active cancer or concerned about your risk of cancer recurrence or development, Dr. Jamie always begins each assessment with the initial consultation package.
Dr. Jamie has chosen a concierge approach to see fewer patients, allowing her to provide each patient with personalized, comprehensive care that leads to long-term, maintainable transformation.
This unique approach typically segues into at least one year of membership, utilizing Functional labs and the support of the entire CIOFM professional team.
We are able to provide care to Medicare patients, given they are NOT enrolled in Medicare Part C (Medicare Advantage). If you have an HMO, you must consent that integrative oncology and/or holistic services are not covered under your plan to move forward with care at CIOFM.
Unfortunately, many private insurance companies do not cover holistic care, and we do not accept or file any private insurance.
Upon completion of the initial consultation appointments, you will have a better understanding of the root causes that are identified and will be provided with personalized initial counseling. This alone can be very eye-opening and empowering.
However, the membership provides a deep dive into Functional Medicine testing and further work with Dr. Jamie and her team, each of whom provides the highest caliber of care to each and every patient. This will give you greater insight into helpful modifications including anti-cancer foods, lifestyle changes, treatment modifications, and helpful supplements.
