New Patient Information

As a new patient, you join a compassionate community dedicated to providing clinical excellence, innovative treatments, and personalized care. On this page, you will find all of the necessary information to prepare for your first visit, what to expect, and how to get in touch with us. We look forward to partnering with you to enhance your long-term health and well-being goals.

All care at CIOFM begins by applying for a Discovery Call and completing a questionnaire to better assess your needs. If you have not yet spoken to Dr. Jamie, applying for a Discovery Call is your first step. If approved, you will be sent a confirmation and a payment link for a nominal $20.00 fee for the call, which is submitted to charity at the end of the year, along with your preferred days and times for the call.

At a mutually convenient time, Dr. Jamie will call you to better understand your unique health concerns and goals and explain how our services can be tailored to meet your needs. This is a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have and for us to outline the next steps in setting up your two-stage consultation.

Our Treatment Path

  • Upon completing the 2-stage consultation, patients gain a deeper understanding of the identified root causes and terrain vulnerabilities and receive initial counseling that will enlighten their path forward. This consultation is the precursor to any membership plan.

    Initial Comprehensive Consultation:

Review of prior oncology records, pathology results, labs, imaging, genetic testing, and molecular studies. Please hand carry these to your first appointment.

Completion of the Functional Medicine Intake Form, an Environmental Exposure History Form, and additional comprehensive questionnaires in your portal. Please allow up to 2 hours to complete your questionnaires. We ask that you fill this out at least 72 hours ahead of time.

Up to 120 minutes of face-to-face consultation with Dr. Jamie.

Pre and post-consultation case review by Dr. Jamie.

    Follow-Up Consult Review:

Scheduled 2-4 weeks after the initial consultation.

Discussion of initial thoughts and personalized recommendations based on findings uncovered during the consultation.

    Financial Investment:

This thoughtful review is comprehensive and will require 6-7 hours or more for Dr. Jamie’s review of your root causes and terrain vulnerabilities, as well as a preliminary treatment plan. This will include 3+ hours of face-to-face time with her.

The initial consultation fee is $1,800.

10% discount on the initial 2-stage consultation for former patients of Dr. Jamie.

  • Opting for a 12-month membership enables a more thorough exploration through Functional Medicine testing and ongoing collaboration with Dr. Jamie and her dedicated team. Empowering you to alter your terrain takes testing, education, and our team to come along side you and support you throughout your journey. Lifelong transformation is our goal and requires education, commitment and support which is why a 12-month commitment is required.

What to Expect at Your Appointments

integrative cancer treatment

Dr. Jamie will review your prior oncology history, pathology, treatment records, genetic testing if applicable, and Functional Medicine forms, which include your intake form, cancer-specific history, medical symptoms questionnaire, and toxin exposure questionnaire with you at your first appointment.

She asks that you return your records and forms 72 hours before your appointment. She will make some initial suggestions.

During the second visit, “the full consult review,” she will review your Functional Medicine matrix, which is where root causes are often identified. She will make some additional recommendations that may include Functional Medicine testing and begin discussions regarding our terrain-based approach.

This two-stage consult will likely provide you with some new information that you may want to integrate with your anti-cancer strategies. After your second appointment, you will likely be offered a membership plan if you want to continue working with Dr. Jamie and her team. Regardless, the initial two-stage consultation will likely be insightful and helpful, regardless of whether you proceed with a one-year commitment to work with Dr. Jamie and her team.

We target the cancer terrain (the patient’s body and environment) by addressing key elements that play a critical role in cancer prevention and healing.

The top ten of these elements, often referred to as Terrain Ten™ (1), were published and developed by Dr. Nasha Winters, a naturopathic oncologist.

These include:

  1. Genetic, epigenetic, and nutrigenomic modifications

  2. Blood sugar balance

  3. Toxic burden management

  4. Repopulating and balancing the microbiome

  5. Immune system maximization

  6. Modulating inflammation and oxidative stress

  7. Enhancing blood circulation while inhibiting angiogenesis and metastasis

  8. Establishing hormone balance

  9. Recalibrating stress levels and biorhythms

  10. Enhancing mental and emotional well-being
